Not a Promotional Supplier
Most branded lip balm is petroleum-based, ordered from a catalogue, and made by somebody nobody at the company has ever spoken to. Ours is formulated by a practicing periodontist and made by her team in a Vermont workshop, and it's the same balm we sell at retail — your label instead of ours.
That difference matters most at the moment somebody turns the tube over. A giveaway that reads as a real product gets used; a giveaway that reads as swag gets left on the table.

"Ordered 1000 lip balms for my company in 5 different scents and we could not be happier! We experienced amazing customer service during the label creation process and they worked hard to make sure we were 100% happy with the labels."

"These lip balms are the best and turned out perfectly for my pop-up Botox event and Mother's Day gifts. The quality is amazing, and I received so many compliments on them."

What Companies Order It For
Same balm, same process, whichever of these you are. The only thing that changes is the quantity and where it ships.
- Client gifts Closing gifts, thank-yous, holiday mailings. Small enough to post flat, useful enough that it doesn't read as filler.
- Employee & onboarding gifts New-hire kits, appreciation weeks, all-hands. One per person plus spares, which is usually a run of 50 to 300.
- Real-estate offices & agents Closing gifts, open houses, and something to leave behind at a showing. Put the brokerage's branding on it, or an individual agent's — and we can split one order across the office.
- Trade shows & conferences Booth giveaways and sponsor swag. It travels flat, doesn't melt in a tote bag, and people take it home rather than binning it at the airport.
- Hotels & guest amenities Turndown, welcome bags, front-desk baskets. Vegan and petroleum-free, which is easier to put in a room than most amenity balm.
- Breweries, wineries & tasting rooms Tasting-room counter merch or a thank-you with a case purchase. At bulk pricing the margin works as a retail item.
- Salons, spas & med spas Sent home after an appointment, handed out at a pop-up event, or sold at the desk. Unscented is available if you'd rather not add a scent to a treatment.
- Hospitals, universities & nonprofits Outreach programs, benefit fairs, donor and staff appreciation. Put the program name and a phone number on the label and the balm carries the message home.
Six real orders — a publisher, two conference tables, a brewery, a med spa and a one-person practice. The minimum is low enough that every one of them works.
Things Worth Asking For
These aren't on the order form. They're all things we do regularly — tell us what you need and we'll quote it alongside the balms.
- Ship to multiple addresses One order, split across offices, branches, event venues or an individual client list. Send the address list with a quantity for each and we'll quote the shipping for the split.
- Lotion and hand soap too We also make hand and body lotion and foaming hand soap under your label, in eleven scents including unscented — full size for a desk, a break room or a shelf, or 2 oz minis that fit a gift bag. Pair either with the balm as a set for a new-hire kit or a closing gift where one tube feels thin.
- More than a logo on the label The label is a print job, not a stamp. It can carry a phone number, a website, a program or campaign name, a QR code, an event date or a short line of copy alongside your logo. Send us what you want on it and we'll lay it out and email a proof.
- Display stands and signage A branded stand, a countertop dispenser or a printed take-one sign that matches your labels, for a front desk, a tasting room counter or a booth table.
- Quotes above 5,000 The published list runs to $1.10 a tube at 1,000 or more. Above about 5,000 we quote individually — and very large runs can take longer than two weeks, so send your date with your quantity.
- Purchasing paperwork Business credit cards and checks, purchase orders, net terms, and a W-9 for your records. Ask before you order and we'll have it arranged.
UConn Health's order, packed and going out. The label carries the health system's name, the specific program it's promoting and the number to call — maple flavor, in a plain box, headed for people who were never going to read a leaflet.
That's the argument for putting more than a logo on it: the balm is the thing that gets kept, so whatever is printed on it gets kept too.
What It Costs
Standard and kraft paper tubes share the same quantity bands, the same 50-tube minimum and the same 25-per-flavor rule. Paper adds exactly $1.65 a tube at every band, so that decision costs the same however much you order.
Standard & paper tubes
| Quantity | Standard | Paper |
|---|---|---|
| 50–149 | $2.35 | $4.00 |
| 150–299 | $1.85 | $3.50 |
| 300–999 | $1.35 | $3.00 |
| 1,000+ | $1.10 | $2.75 |
One-time $75 label setup fee, and reorders of the same label are free — so a repeat order next year costs less than the first one. Shipping is quoted separately; our retail free-shipping offer doesn't cover custom or bulk orders.
Because flavors are made in lots of 25, your total is always a multiple of 25. If your headcount lands just under a price break, round up — 150 tubes costs $277.50 against $293.75 for 125, and 300 costs $405 against $508.75 for 275. You get the spares and pay less.
Need SPF? Custom SPF balm is regulated as an over-the-counter drug, so it starts at 150 tubes per flavor and has its own price list, FDA compliance fees and lead time. See SPF pricing & requirements →
How It Works
- 1 Send us your logo Whatever you have — a logo file, your website, brand guidelines. We'll email a free mockup before you commit to anything.
- 2 Pick flavors and quantity Minimum 50, in lots of 25 per flavor. The $10 Flavor Selection Kit is the easy way to choose, and the $10 comes off your order.
- 3 Approve the proof Changes are free and unlimited up to this point. Nothing prints until you've signed off.
- 4 Hand them out Most orders are out the door within two weeks of label approval, with transit on top.
Working to a show date or an event? The clock that matters is label approval, not the order date — most orders are out the door within two weeks of it, with a few days at the front for the proof round and transit on top. Plan on about three weeks from ordering to delivery, and tell us the date so we can confirm it before you order rather than after.
"Love, love, love the lip balm we ordered. Such a great local company. Ordered just a week ago, finalized our design on Wednesday and arrived today! And a women owned company! Thank you!!"
Joselyn Marie · recommendation on FacebookIn a rush? Tell us anyway. Rush processing is available on standard and paper tubes for an extra fee, and rush orders of standard tubes can often be processed and shipped out within a few days. Call 1-802-359-7514 or email info@farmersbody.com with your date before you order and we'll tell you honestly whether it works, rather than taking the order and hoping. SPF is the one exception — it can't be rush processed.
Who You're Actually Dealing With
Meggan wrote the formula herself — she's a periodontist with a diploma in organic skincare formulation, and she still practices, which is why the balm was built around lips that are genuinely dry rather than around a price point.
Her team of women makes it: mixing, pouring, labeling and packing every order by hand in the Vermont workshop, in batches small enough that somebody looks at every tray. Seven ingredients — rice bran oil, coconut oil, stearic acid, cocoa and/or mango seed butter, candelilla wax, essential or flavor oil, and vitamin E. Made without petroleum-derived ingredients, and the wax is candelilla rather than beeswax, so it's vegan.
We're a certified Vermont Green Business, and the kraft paperboard tube is there for companies that want a renewable, compostable option — which is often the deciding factor when someone has to answer for what goes in the gift bag.
Frequently Asked Questions About Corporate Lip Balm Orders
What's the minimum order?
Fifty tubes, ordered in lots of 25 per flavor — and that's deliberately low. Most promotional suppliers won't quote under several hundred units, which is a problem if you need 60 balms for a client mailing or 100 for a single booth. Your total is always a multiple of 25, so a 50-tube order is two flavors at 25 each, or 50 of one.
How much does it cost per unit?
Standard tubes are $2.35 each for 50–149, $1.85 for 150–299, $1.35 for 300–999, and $1.10 for 1,000 or more. Kraft paper tubes are exactly $1.65 more per tube at every one of those bands. There's a one-time $75 label setup fee on your first order, and reorders of the same label are free. Shipping is quoted separately.
How long does it take?
Most orders are out the door within two weeks of the moment you approve your label proof — not from when you place the order. Add a few days at the front for the label design and your review, plus transit, so plan on about three weeks from ordering to delivery. If you're working to a show or event date, tell us and we'll confirm it before you order. Rush processing is available on standard and paper tubes for an extra fee, and rush orders of standard tubes can often be processed and shipped out within a few days.
Can you ship to multiple offices or addresses?
Yes. We can split a single order across several offices, branches, event venues or individual recipients. Send us the address list with the quantity for each and we'll quote the shipping for the split. It's a common ask from multi-location companies, from real-estate brokerages, and from anyone sending gifts out to a client list.
Can you make gift sets rather than loose tubes?
Yes. We can pack balms as multipacks, or build a set that pairs your custom lip balm with custom-labeled hand and body lotion and foaming hand soap, all carrying your label. Both come in full size, for a desk or a shelf, or as 2 oz minis that fit a gift bag — in eleven scents, including unscented. Tell us what you'd like in the set and roughly how many, and we'll quote it.
Can you print more than a logo on the label?
Yes. The label is a print job rather than a stamp, so it can carry a phone number, a website, a program or campaign name, a QR code, an event date or a short line of copy alongside your logo. UConn Health put their Adoption Assistance Program name and its phone number on theirs. Send us what you want on it and we'll lay it out and email a proof before anything prints.
Do you provide a display stand or signage?
Yes — a branded display stand, a countertop dispenser or a printed take-one sign to match your labels, which works on a front desk, a hotel or tasting room counter, or a trade show table. Ask when you order and we'll quote it with the balms.
Do you accept purchase orders and net terms?
Yes. We take business credit cards and checks, we accept purchase orders, we can set up net terms, and we'll provide a W-9 for your records. Just ask before you order — email info@farmersbody.com or call 1-802-359-7514. Custom and bulk orders are already priced at bulk rates, so they aren't eligible for retail discount codes or free shipping promotions.
Can you quote more than 5,000 units?
Yes. The published list runs to $1.10 a tube for standard tubes at 1,000 or more. Above about 5,000 we quote individually, and very large orders can run longer than the standard two weeks — so send us your date at the same time as your quantity and we'll tell you what's realistic.
What's in it, and is it appropriate to hand out at an event?
Seven ingredients: rice bran oil, coconut oil, stearic acid, cocoa and/or mango seed butter, candelilla wax, essential or flavor oil, and vitamin E. Made without petroleum-derived ingredients, and candelilla wax rather than beeswax, so it's vegan.
It does contain coconut and cocoa or mango butter, and some flavors are nut-derived — almond among them. Unscented has no added flavor or essential oil, though the base ingredients are the same. If you need an allergen statement for an event, ask and we'll send the exact ingredient list for the flavors you're considering.
Can we see our logo on it before we order?
Yes, free, with nothing committed. Send us your logo and we'll email you a mockup of your label on a tube, usually within a couple of days. If you'd rather try them first, the Flavor Selection Kit is $10 for up to five flavors of your choice with shipping included, and we apply the $10 to your first custom order.
What if we don't have print-ready artwork?
Send whatever you have — a logo file, a screenshot of your website, your brand guidelines. We design the label around your branding and send proofs within a few days, and nothing goes into production until you've signed off. If something isn't right, we adjust it and send another.
See your logo on a tube first.
Send us your logo and we'll email you the design, usually within a couple of days. It's free, and nothing is committed — which is a better way to make the decision than a catalogue photo.
