Shipping
We know how much you want your goodies and how hard it is to wait, so as soon as you place an order, we are on it! We carefully pack up your order and ship as fast as we can via UPS or USPS.
Most regular orders leave our Hartland, VT soap studio within 2-5 business days of payment. You’ll receive an email when your order ships with tracking info.
We love fun surprises! But surprise costs when it comes to shipping? Those are decidedly NOT fun. That’s why we charge a flat $7.50 shipping fee per order.
And if your order totals more than $75, then guess what? (this one’s a fun surprise.) Your order ships FREE*!
*excludes bulk orders and wholesale orders
Local Delivery and Pick-Up
If you have selected local delivery (yay for being our neighbor and shopping local!), please indicate which location (Hartland VT, Lyme NH or Claremont NH) and we'll connect via email to coordinate. Local pick-up orders are typically ready within 24-48 hours.
If you’d like to see our smiling faces in person, free local delivery is available on orders of $500+ within a 50-mile radius of Hartland, VT.
Where we ship
We love foreign travel, but sadly we only ship to US addresses at this time.
Shipping Package Recycling
Because we care about the planet, our kids, your kids, and doing our best to help reduce unnecessary waste, we re-use shipping packages and encourage you to as well! So if your shipping box looks used…that’s because it probably is!
Our Guarantee
Making people happy is why we do what we do, and we truly believe we have some of the best products around. If you don't have a positive experience for any reason, we promise to do our honest best to make sure you are totally satisfied with your purchase.
Buying items online can be iffy sometimes- you can't touch, feel or smell the products, so we want you to know that there is zero risk in buying something and trying it out. If you don't like it, no hard feelings- we'll make it right!
Damaged Items
We know you are just waiting to tear open that box when it arrives- please do! Please inspect your order asap upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and get things on track.
Remember that our items are all handmade, so there is always a bit of variation from one item to the next! Our products all go through our quality control process, but we are humans (no robots or conveyor belts here!), so please let us know if something is wrong.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@farmersbody.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Shipping Issues
Unfortunately, shipping issues are a reality of life these days. While we take great care in packing your order, things can sometimes go wrong in transit.
Visible Outer Package Damage:
If your package arrives with visible damage, we recommend refusing delivery. This will ensure the carrier returns it directly to us, and we’ll work on getting a replacement out to you as soon as possible.
Hidden Internal Damage:
If your package arrives and is damaged inside the box, please notify us immediately with a written description and clear photos of the damage. We’ll file a claim with the carrier, and once approved, we’ll send out a replacement.
Marked as Delivered but Missing:
If your package is marked as delivered by the carrier but you haven’t received it, please first check with neighbors, household members, or building management. If it’s still missing, reach out to us right away. While we are not responsible for packages that are stolen or misplaced after delivery, we’ll do our best to help you file a claim with the carrier. We also recommend filing a mail theft report with your local police.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items) cannot be returned, but we still want you to be happy, so please reach out and start a conversation about how we can make things right.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
