But first, a quick explanation of what "seconds" actually means around here, because it's worth knowing before you shop.
What Are Seconds?
Seconds are Farmer's Body products that didn't quite meet our strict visual or weight standards — but are completely fine to use. A bar of soap might be shaped a little differently than usual, have a small dent or air bubble, carry an ink smudge on the label, or weigh slightly under our standard. Some bars are end pieces from a batch, or come without packaging entirely.
For lotions, foaming soaps, body butters, and lip balms, it's a different story. Those are perfectly good and unused — they're simply seasonal or discontinued scents that are being cleared out to make room for what's coming next.
In every case, the ingredients are exactly the same. The quality is exactly the same. Only the appearance or timing is slightly different. And the price is half of what you'd normally pay.

Hand & Body Lotions — $8.25

Spiced Cranberry is a fall and winter favorite — cranberry, cinnamon, clove, and a bright hit of mandarin orange. Warm and festive without being heavy, and honestly just as good in September as it is in December. If you missed it during the season or loved it and ran out, here it is again.

Two beloved bar soap scents are available as seconds this week, along with one of our most unique offerings.
Vermont Maple with Jersey Cream is the bar we're probably most known for — warm, creamy, and comforting, with a silky lather that leaves skin soft rather than stripped. If you've been wanting to try it, $5 is the best price you'll find.
Lavender with Wildflowers is calm, floral, and exactly what you'd want in a handcrafted bar. It lathers beautifully and the scent lingers just enough without being overwhelming.
Both may come shaped a little differently, have a small cosmetic imperfection, or arrive without their usual packaging. The formula is identical to what we sell at full price.

This one deserves its own moment because it's a little different from everything else in the sale.
